Senior Project Manager | Sweden or Europe
Summary
We are looking for a senior project manager for a large international fiber infrastructure project. The project spans over large distances, terrestrial as well as sub-sea.
What You’ll Do
Sourcing of field entrepreneurs, both terrestrial as well as sea-based
Contractor management
Sourcing of material
Network planning
Site acquisition
Permits and lease agreements
Documentation
Develop project plans in accordance with project classification, contract requirements, defined milestones, scheduling, quality requirements and resource planning
Execute project in accordance to Global Connect Project Governance methodology, escalating dependencies and managing project stakeholders
Track, control and report project progress and make financial evaluations, forecasts and KPI follow-up according to IPO methodology
Add to business result by executing project according to plan and objectives, striving for operational excellence with ability to adapt to changes
Implement risk and opportunity management processes, and control project risks
Ensure compliance against contractual obligations, displaying understanding of applicable contract types and procedures for dispute resolution
Identify and manage claims in project with stringent procedures, adding to result
Lead the project team to achieve objectives by inspiring confidence, making sure work is recognized and communicating project goals to the whole team
Make presentations and write reports for project using appropriate language
Ensure project delivery is done in accordance to company business logic
